Freddie Gibbs & Madlib Drop “The Next Day” Via Adult Swim Program

Adult Swim has enlisted Freddie Gibbs and Madlib for the 52nd and final installment of the current singles program.

Titled “The Next Day,” the track features a guest spot from Oh No and mirrors the incredible chemistry demonstrated on the duo’s sophomore full length album, Bandana.

The album served as the follow-up to their 2014 critically-acclaimed debut Piñata and featured guest appearances from Anderson. Paak, Pusha T, Killer Mike, Yasiin Bey and Black Thought.

Bandana received HipHopDX’s coveted 5.0 rating with editor-in-chief Trent Clark writing, “Listening practices and preferences within Hip Hop music bend and break with the times; it’s inevitable.

“As the culture is currently enamored with more rhythmic patterns than the meat on the bone, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib have undoubtedly proved they can compete without compromising their composition standards.
