Noname Reflects The Dark State of Being Black In Chicago In “Blaxploitation” Video

Chicago rapper and poet Noname kicks her philosophy with a lyrical exhibition about racism to a mid-tempo jazz beat for her song and video “Blaxploitation.” The single is from here latest album Room 25.

In the song’s darkened Alex Lill-directed visual, a toddler plays and sits in a rising flood in a small downtown Chicago street replica along with TV news clips.
