T.I. Reportedly Sued For $10M Over “Bankroll Mafia” Name

Gwinnett County, GA – A Georgia man by the name of Nicholas Partridge is reportedly suing T.I. for $10 million. According to Bossip, Partridge previously sued the Hustle Gang boss for theft of intellectual property for allegedly co-opting the name “Bankroll Mafia.” Now, he wants the $10 million to compensate his loss.

Partridge says he created the name and idea for “Bankroll Mafia” in 2014 when he was behind bars at the Gwinnett County Jail. He explained while he was protective custody, he’d pass the time by drawing. The suit says this was when he created the “Bankroll Mafia” brand and company. By the time he was released in October 2014, he noticed Tip had adopted the “Bankroll Mafia” name.

In 2016, Tip dropped the Bankroll Mafia album as part of the Bankroll Mafia group featuring Young Thug, Shad da God, PeeWee Roscoe, Lil Duke, London Jae and, of course, T.I.

Partridge insists he never gave Tip permission to use the name and wants to be reimbursed for the financial loss he says he suffered.

The Family Hustle star has yet to respond publicly to the suit.
